A mellow weekend....

I have very little to report from the weekend... which given the last few weeks is a blessing - I have had a few "side effects" from the chemo - but nothing crazy. If anything, it has sucked the energy from me. I had some wonderful visits from friends ~ with lots of laughs. I have talked with many, reminiscing of the "wall of hats" and have found a few pictures that I will post for a giggle -

  1. It was great hanging and laughing this weekend - Although I am likely at my cheese quota for the month (I may put vodka in my Sat. afternoons more often!)
Oh..... the wall of hats if only you had that now! How much fun did we have over the years with those hats. I loved the big fur one - you wouldn't even need a wig if Lynda had kept that baby!

  2. Glad you had a quiet weekend. And I am so glad to know that another family had a wall of hats. My Dad created three but only the one at the cottage still exists. Maybe we should make the first gourmet club a Cheese and Hats theme. Or just Cheesy Hats!

  4. The hats are a brilliant idea. But the one hat i remember most was actually a bean bag chair that was worn to fashion one mother of a 'do.

Maybe you can try that one on for size; bet that would enhance your street cred, and no one would dare to dis you. word.

keep writing Kelly, love reading the excerpts...sjh
